Certificate Description
PDC-106:
Digital Technology, Information Systems & Artificial Intelligence
The Professional Development Certificate in Digital Technology, Information Systems & Artificial Intelligence is a 660-hour applied program designed to build practical digital, technical, and workplace skills for today’s technology-driven environment.
All learners begin with a common foundation in digital literacy, workplace technology, professional communication, web technologies, computer systems, and IT support. Learners then choose one of two specialization pathways: Web Development or IT Support & Networking.
The Web Development pathway introduces learners to web design, responsive development, JavaScript, front-end and back-end development, databases, and deployment. The IT Support & Networking pathway develops skills in computer hardware, operating systems, technical support, troubleshooting, networking, security, and systems support.
The program concludes with Career Integration & Applied Professional Practice, where learners bring their skills together through professional portfolio development, technical documentation, applied capstone projects, workplace simulations, and employment preparation.
Through hands-on and applied learning, learners build confidence, strengthen problem-solving and communication skills, and prepare for entry-level opportunities in the digital technology field or continued education and professional development.
